It's now official.  The Penfield project signed Lund's onto the development and it is indeed the Hyatt coming on board too.  The press release was mighty effective, since just about every new organization bit.

I am really excited to see the new revised plans and really looking forward to shopping at a downtown Lund's.  Hopefully with the hotel and grocery store, it's enough for the banks to lend money to build the project.  Being that we are talking apartments and not condos, there is no pre-sale requirement, but I am sure there are some MAJOR hoops that still have to be jumped through.

The articles quote construction will begin in the fall of 2009, so I guess the "This Fall you view will change forever" banner can stay on the sales - er - info center located at 11th & Minnesota.
