The Rossmor just went through and rekeyed every loft in the building.  The management company had a master key in a lockbox on the front door of the building and it went missing!  So after a little battling, the home owners association got the management company to pay to have the building rekeyed.

From what I know of the story, the master was very mismanaged!  Most buildings that have master keys, have VERY tight controls over them.  Background checks are usually required to even have access to them.

Long of the short of it, this is a pretty big boo-boo, so look for a change in management in the Rossmor's future!

So in the past there was a rumor floating around that a Lunds was going to be part of the now defunct Penfield development.  Well, the rumor wasn't too far off!

I've now heard from three very good sources that Lunds & Byerly's signed on with the developers of the old Penfield to go forward with a Byerly's with the new development that is planned!

The developer (Alatus) is planning a high-end apartment building with a Hyatt hotel.  Now with Byerly's as an anchor to the block and a great amenity for both the development and the neighborhood!
