So tonight was the night after all!  The Scheduled HRA meeting was almost postponed because two council members couldn't make it and they needed 4 of the seven in support.  The drama all day has been it was thought to be 3-1 voting.

I don't want to know what was said or promised, but the holdout changed their mind.  HRA (Housing & Redevelopment Authority - aka City Council) will now take the wheel of the Penfield, and submit this project to HUD for backing under the "Build America Bonds" program.

It's my understanding that Lund's is still hanging tough with the project - as long as they are on board, so am I!

Unrelated to the Penfield, I hope to have a juicy new Restaurant Rumor Report sometime tomorrow, stay tuned ;)
